Creative Corner Art Workshops

A Monthly Art & English Journey at Manda’s English Playroom

Creative Corner is more than just a craft class—it’s a space designed to rekindle the joy of hands-on learning and the pure creativity that only art can provide. Each month, we explore a new artistic theme, helping children build confidence in their English skills while creating something they are truly proud of.

🌟 Workshop Details

  • Recommended Age: 4 to 10 years old.

  • Attendance Policy:

    • Ages 6 and younger: Must be accompanied by an adult for a fun, collaborative experience.

    • Ages 7 and older: Welcome to join independently (Drop-off)! Parents can enjoy some free time while their child creates.

  • When: Workshops are generally hosted on the 3rd or 4th Sunday of every month.

  • The Experience: Manda’s English Playroom provides a full "stress-free" studio environment. We provide all the professional tools and bulk supplies, so you can focus entirely on the art!

Parents, please email a high-resolution photo of your child by June 1st for our personalized June project!

Small Group Setting / 少人数制:

Limited to 8 creators per session to ensure personalized attention.

FAQ 

  • Q: Do I need to bring any tools or materials from home? A: Not at all! Manda’s English Playroom provides a fully equipped studio. We supply all the "Studio Elements" like glue, scissors, professional paints, and brushes. Your child’s custom "Craft Kit" will be waiting for them when they arrive.

  • Q: Can I leave my child at the studio? A: This depends on your child's age! For children 7 years and older, this is a drop-off program where they can enjoy creative independence. For children 6 years and younger, we ask that one adult accompanies them to help with the activities and enjoy the bonding experience.

  • Q: What should my child wear? A: We use high-quality art supplies (including acrylic paints in some months), so we recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy, or bringing an art smock/apron.

  • Q: Does my child need to be fluent in English? A: No! The Creative Corner is a supportive learning environment. We use the "hands-on" nature of art to teach English naturally. It is a perfect way for beginners to build confidence and for advanced speakers to practice in a creative setting.

  • Q: How do I send the photo for the June project? A: Please email a high-resolution photo of your child to [Your Email Address] by June 1st. We will print and prepare the photo on a professional canvas board for them!
